Hello!

Hi, I'm Aliyah.

My creative journey began at 8 years old when I started sewing and drawing, using fabric and sketches to explore the ideas I imagined. That early curiosity grew into a passion for fashion design and eventually led me to study Fashion Design at Pratt Institute.

Throughout my career, I have worked across fashion design, product development, production, and creative education, experiencing the many stages that bring an idea from concept to creation. I am also the founder of Anadiya Meen, my own fashion brand where I continue to explore storytelling, product design, and the process of building a brand from the ground up.

I created Meen Studios to share the creative process behind fashion and make design feel more approachable. I believe learning to sew is about more than creating a finished piece; it’s about developing your eye, trusting your ideas, and gaining the confidence to bring them into the world.

Whether you are picking up a sewing machine for the first time or looking to expand your creative skills, my goal is to create a space where you can experiment, learn, and discover your own design perspective.

My Philosophy

Design is a love letter. Construction is a conversation.

At Meen Studios, sewing is the foundation, but design is the destination.

We believe becoming a designer begins with learning how to see the details that matter. Through sewing, construction, customization, and creative exploration, students develop the technical skills and design perspective needed to bring their ideas to life.

By combining professional craftsmanship with experimentation and personal expression, we help students build their skills, refine their eye, and create pieces that feel uniquely their own.
