STU-001: Studio Foundations: The Studio Tote
Studio Foundations is the introductory course for every new student at Meen Studios. Designed for complete beginners, this four-week course introduces the essential skills, tools, and techniques needed to create future garments, accessories, and home projects confidently.
More than just learning how to sew, you’ll learn how designers approach the creative process, from understanding materials and construction to making thoughtful design decisions that transform an idea into a finished piece.
Throughout the course, you’ll create your first Meen Studios project: The Studio Tote, a durable canvas carryall designed and sewn by you. Featuring a rounded base, lined interior, drawcord closure, and functional pocket, this project introduces the core construction skills needed to continue into future Wear Labs and Object Labs.
