WEAR-F26-001: The Perfect Lounge Kimono
Create a timeless layering piece designed for slow mornings, creative work, and everyday comfort.
In this 4-week Wear Lab, you’ll design and sew your own kimono-inspired lounge top: a relaxed, unisex garment that blends the comfort of loungewear with the style of a modern wardrobe staple.
Inspired by luxury lounge sets and Japanese-inspired silhouettes, this course explores how designers transform simple fabrics into wearable pieces that reflect personal style. From selecting your fabric and customizing design details to constructing and finishing your garment, you’ll experience the process of creating a piece from concept to completion.
Throughout the course, you’ll build confidence in garment construction while creating a versatile lounge layer you can wear at home, when traveling, or as part of your everyday wardrobe.
